We do not apply harsh chemicals, therefore small pieces of vegetal matter may be included - these particles can be easily removed by hand. All colors are hand-dyed to achieve subtle tonal variation, just like real hair.

SUITABLE FOR MANY CRAFTS: Doll making, wigs, spinning, felting, or wall hangings. Our locks are not combed or carded and may require further processing depending on your specific project.

LOCALLY RAISED: Directly from the farm to you! We support local independent US breeders who raise their small flocks of happy Angora goats in the foothills of Mt. Rainier in Washington State - thank you for choosing sustainable, cruelty free US fiber! Our Mohair is graded and processed by the breeder herself. She is a certified livestock expert, practices cruelty free animal husbandry and is an accredited fiber judge and 4H teacher.

DETAILS & CARE: Length of locks vary, but most are 2" - 4" long (50-100mm). Our locks are not combed or carded, and are priced accordingly. This fiber package is a full 1oz (28g - not 10g like most other offers); a great economic choice for budget minded crafters choosing to comb their locks themselves! Please be aware that Mohair locks are a natural, organic product with variations. No two bags will look exactly the same. Please hand wash in cool water.
