Soft cover journal is excellent quality, sturdy, great paper. I think I prefer a spiral bound though.  Got it for very reasonable price.

I love the binding and cover, it takes a good bit of wear and tear and the paper is fairly heavy and works with a lot of different media. The one think i don’t like about it is it doesn’t lie flat

Velvety Smooth sketch paper that allows you to blend perfectly!! I even love the cover because it's both soft and durable! This is a staple in my life and I take it Everywhere with me!!

Using this journal as a whimsical lettering book, so some of the things I'm doing with it weren't intended for it to be used this way. There is bleed thru with permanent markers, so best to stick to pens and pencils. I just glue another sheet over the back, so I can use the backside and keep a barrier between sheets when using it the other way.

These are my favorite sketch books for drawing. The paper is smooth so I can do skin textures that look more realistic.

The 2 best features of this sketchbook are the construction and appearance. The paper quality is good for more than one type of media, the copic markers my daughter used didn't bleed through!  And it will look nice when it is on the shelf rather than the spiralbound styles of sketchbooks
