Step 2
Three Petal Flower:

A. CH 6, then SL ST into the first CH to form a ring.

B. Working all stitches directly into the ring itself, *(CH 1, 1 SC, 1 DC, 1 TR, 1 DC, 1 SC, CH 1, SL ST into ring to complete petal).

C. Repeat from * twice more to make two more petals.

Finishing: After the third petal is complete, knot off the yarn. Use a yarn needle or your crochet hook to tuck the yarn tail into the stitches on the back side of the flower.

Step 3
Four Petal Flower:

A. CH 6, then SL ST into the first CH to form a ring.

B. Working all stitches directly into the ring itself, *(CH 1, 1 SC, CH 1, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 TR, CH 1, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 SC, CH 1, SL ST into ring to complete petal).

C. Repeat from * twice more to make a three-petaled flower, or three more times to make a flower with four petals.

Finishing: After the last petal is complete, knot off the yarn. Use a yarn needle or your crochet hook to tuck the yarn tail into the stitches on the back side of the flower.

Step 4
Five Petal Flower:

A. CH 6, then SL ST into the first CH to form a ring.

B. Working all stitches directly into the ring itself, *(CH 3, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 TR, CH 1, 1 DC, CH 3, SL ST into ring to complete petal).

C. Repeat from * four more times to make five petals total.

Finishing: After the fifth petal is complete, knot off the yarn. Use a yarn needle or your crochet hook to tuck the yarn tail into the stitches on the back side of the flower.

Step 5
Large Flower:

NOTE: This pattern is exactly the same as the one for Medium Flowers. Use a size K crochet hook and two strands of yarn to make them in a larger size. These flowers have five petals each.

A. Using the larger (K) hook, and two strands of yarn, CH 6, then SL ST into the first CH to form a ring.

B. Working all stitches directly into the ring itself, *(CH 3, 1 DC, CH 1, 1 TR, CH 1, 1 DC, CH 3, SL ST into ring to complete petal).

C. Repeat from * four more times to make five petals total.

Finishing: After the fifth petal is complete, knot off both strands of yarn. Use a yarn needle or your crochet hook to tuck the yarn tails into the stitches on the back side of the flower.

Step 6
To Assemble Garland:

A. Chain 100.

B. Before beginning the next chain stitch, slip a crochet flower onto hook. Continue chain as normal, attaching the crochet flower.

C. Chain 10.

D. Repeat B and C until the end.

E. Chain 100. Tie off.
