Project Instructions
Step 1 Wash and dry apron without fabric softener to remove sizing. Iron flat.
Step 2 Place dye refill in spray bottle and fill with water. Shake two minutes
Step 3 Lay apron on plastic tablecloth. Spray dye heavily in center of apron, and mist along edges to create a gradient with the dye.
Step 4 Pull tablecloth over the apron and let set six to eight hours.
Step 5 Rinse and dry apron following instructions on dye package. Iron flat. Lay apron on flat surface.
Step 6 Using stencils and paintbrush, paint “ROCK AND ROLL” with white paint. Let dry.
Step 7 Place studs on points of letters.
Step 8 Carefully lay thin cloth over studs.
Step 9 Set iron on cotton setting with no steam. Iron studs in place, holding 15 seconds and lifting straight up without shifting the thin cloth. Continue until all studs are heat set.
