Customer Reviews
Shrinky Dinks® Ink Jet Pack is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The "new" ones suck, but there's a work-around... As many have noticed, they don't shrink correctly anymore, which was a real problem for my earring business. I do most of my designs in Powerpoint, and if I reduce the width (NOT the height, just the width) to around .77 of the original, then my circles come out pretty close to circular. And $14 a pack is ridiculous, I always use a coupon, lol.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thinner Paper I made some charms using one left over package from a couple of years back and the charms were perfect. I recently purchased two additional packs and the newer packages have horrible distortion. Comparing the sheets from the old pack to the new package, the newer sheets are noticeably thinner. Can't recommend buying this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crazy distortion This product is pretty terrible, especially for the price. I'm actually a Canadian customer but they Canadian Michael's site doesn't have this product listed (but they do sell it). I've been using the frosted shrinky dinks and haven't noticed too much distortion of the images (nothing terribly noticable) and decided to buy these since i already had some images scanned on my computer that i'd like to turn into charms. after testing out one sheet, my pieces turned out more or less flat, but TOTALLY stretched out, which is very disappointing because it's VERY apparent. They're more expensive than the regular ones and not worth it at all. I'm very, very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money! USED TO love this product. But it's now defective. I've called to complain to get my money back and they "act" like it's their first time hearing it. BUT read the current reviews. EVERYONE'S having issues. THE pieces don't keep shape. THEY distort. something rectangular shrinks square, something round will be oval. TO be blunt, don't get your hopes up. I wish my money could be refunded.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Follow the instructions I got pretty much what I expected with this product. I read the review and really didn't know how it was going to turn out, but I really needed something like these to finish a project I am working on. So I bought them expecting the worst. BUT I really like the finished product. Follow the instructions!! Brighten up your pictures! They will darken once they shrink! One little tip I can share.... They did curl up in the oven, so once they were done I took my flat iron and straighted them out. Be careful not to stretch while doing these. My pictures really were not that distorted! Over all one thump up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Read the title, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Shrinky Dinks was sold out to a different company about a year ago and they do not manufacture them the same way they used to. Shrinky Dinks used to be wonderful and they shrank in the oven perfectly. Now they are abnormal and shrink oddly and they are defective and useless. It is a waste of money! DO. NOT. BUY!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not shrink evenly I was really excited to use these since I saw a tutorial to make charms with these. $14 is a bit pricey for only 6 sheets, but I wanted to try these anyways. I baked them in the oven following the directions exactly and they came out completely stretched out and distorted. I tried baking it different ways and positioning differently but nothing seemed to work! These completely ruin your work, don't buy these!! I've used other Shrinky Dink types before and haven't had a problem with them though! Unfortunately, you can't print on those. Don't buy these Inkjet ones!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Outstretched I was so excited about purchasing this so that i can make keychains & jewelry from my art. All went well until i actually went to cook them and all my imaged stretched out so much they looked morphed. I tried different temp settings on the oven and they all turned out the exact same way. I don't know if the quality is cheaper now or if i got a bad batch. and Its not like this paper is cheap, its expensive and for every one of my imaged to mess up is really upsetting & such a waste of money.
