Project Instructions

Prewash and dry T-shirt to remove sizing; do not use fabric softener.

Insert cardboard between layers of shirt to prevent paint seepage to other side.

Trace hat and "Spooky" patterns onto contact paper with fine-tip marker. Cut out insides of designs with a craft knife, leaving outside edges intact to create stencil.

Peel backing from hat stencil and place on upper left of shirt where shown. Press firmly along stencil edges to prevent paint seepage.

Brush one coat of Chocolate Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™ within stencil and let dry. Brush on a second coat if needed for more opaque coverage. Remove stencil and let dry.

Remove backing from "Spooky" stencil and place on shirt with "S" underneath hat as shown.

Squeeze a puddle of Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ Bond on palette then use wedge sponge to dab within stencil openings. Immediately sprinkle gold glitter over adhesive and gently press with finger to set. Remove stencil and shake off excess glitter over a piece of scratch paper and return to container for reuse. Let dry.

Use a paintbrush to brush Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ Bond around designs in the shape of a star as shown. Immediately sprinkle silver glitter onto adhesive and gently press with finger to set. Let dry then shake off excess over scratch paper and return to container for reuse.

Outline and detail hat with Black Slick Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint. Let dry completely.

Tips
