Project Instructions

Step 1
Cut a 4" length of 20 ga. wire and make a large wrapped loop on one end.

Step 2
String three beads onto the wire, then make another large wrapped loop. This unit should be about 2" long.

Step 3
Cut two 4" lengths of leather lace and two 3" lengths of wire.

Step 4
Fold one piece of leather through a loop by one inch.

Step 5
Coil the wire tightly around the folded leather.

Step 6
Use chain nose pliers to tuck the wire ends between the folds to prevent snags.

Step 7
Repeat Steps 4-6 to complete the other side of the bracelet.

Step 8
Glue a cord-end onto each end of the bracelet and squeeze it shut using chain nose pliers.

Choose your leather lace, favorite focal bead, two accent beads and you're ready to go! The technique is the same for both of the bracelets, so you can make them by the stack.

Craft Notes

If you wish to make a bracelet that is longer or shorter than the sample, factor the clasp at about 1" and cut the suede lace accordingly.
