Measure and cut a piece of the patterned paper to fit the top and four sides of the canvas.
Follow the instructions included in the set to practice the basic open and closed designs on newsprint.
Using the Coral Red paint, work around the outside of the wheel, stamping the four directional images. Do not change the wheel placement. Use the Peach paint and stamp the remaining open areas around the wheel.
Use the turquoise paint to stamp around the inside of the wheel using a basic open design.
Apply Mod Podge® to the top and sides of the canvas. Immediately secure the stamped paper to the canvas top and sides.
Edge canvas top with a combination of light and dark brown ink.
Use the sandpaper to distress the clock hands and numbers.
Attach the numbers to the clock face.
Follow the package instructions to build the clock workings.
Wrap and secure the ribbon to finish the clock sides.
