Sushi Mini Cupcakes

Material List

  • Duff Cake Mix – Yellow
  • Ingredients Needed for Cake
  • Duff Icing – White
  • Duff Fondant – Black
  • Coconut (Shredded)
  • Jelly Candies
  • Cupcake Pan, Mini
  • Cupcake Liners, Mini

Project Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°.

Bake yellow cupcakes according to Duff cake mix instructions.

Let cool completely.

Spread frosting on cupcakes.

Press cupcakes, top side down, in coconut.

Roll out fondant to about 1/8" thickness. Cut strips in fondant, approximately 1" wide and 2½" long.

Wrap fondant around bottom of cupcake.

Chop gummy candies into small bits.

Place candies on top of coconut.


Make sure cupcakes are completely cooled before applying frosting. Oven should only be used by an adult.
