Material List
- Tulip® One-Step Tie Dye Kit™ Refills – Orange, Fuchsia, Lime and Turquoise
- T-Shirt – Neon Lime
- Plastic Tablecloth
- Paintbrush – 2"-3" Bristle Brush
- Plastic Containers, Small (4)
- Squeeze Bottle, Small Tip
Project Instructions
Step 1 Wash shirt in cold water without fabric softener. Dry and press smooth.
Step 2 Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth.
Step 3 Wearing protective gloves, prepare dye as instructed.
Step 4 Pour each color of dye into its own small plastic container.
Step 5 Dip wide bristle brush into the green dye (or other color you choose) and make wide sweeps across T-shirt, half circles, etc. as desired.
Step 6 Rinse out dye from brush and dip into the orange dye. Continue brushing loose, sweeping strokes.
Step 7 Rinse brush again and continue with the fuchsia and then turquoise.
Step 8 Pour small amount of turquoise dye into the squeeze bottle with fine tip.
Step 9 Squeeze bottle over shirt, making fine, free form lines over colors.
Step 10 Allow dye to set on T-shirt for 1-2 hours. Carefully turn over to reverse side and repeat the free form brush strokes and fine lines with the squeeze bottle.
Step 11 Cover shirt with plastic tablecloth and let sit 6-8 hours.
Step 12 Rinse in cold water until water runs clear. Machine wash and dry as directed.
