Step 1 Prepare basswood canvas by drilling 3/8" hole in center for clock movement. Sand top and edges with fine sandpaper. Wipe with paper towel.
Step 2 Use sponge to add distress inks to top and edges of canvas. Use up/down motion to follow the grain of the wood.
Step 3 Stamp edges and top of canvas using various Urban Grunge stamps inked with Versa-Fine™ ink.
Step 4 Decide how long to cut chain, depending on placement of chandelier stamp. Cut with wire cutter part of pliers. Use nails and hammer to attach chain to top and on edge of canvas.
Step 5 Attach brads on both sides of ornate plate and adhere in center of canvas using MONO Multi Liquid Glue.
Step 6 After reading all manufacturer's instructions found inside the Creative Versa-Tool™, use pliers to attach “R” HotStamps alphabet letter on tool. Secure tool stand to work surface with tape. Place tool on stand. Plug into electric outlet, turn Versa-Temp control dial between the Orange and Red Zones and heat for four to five minutes. Hot stamp the letter “R”, remove with pliers and drop letter into a ceramic dish. Attach the letter “E” on Tool. Proceed with each letter until the entire word “TIMEKEEPER” has been hot stamped. When complete, turn Versa-Temp control dial to “O” (off).
Step 7 Attach clock movement and hands to canvas. The numbers are self-adhesive. Press the numbers in place.
Step 8 Use fine sandpaper to distress the edges of the wood canvas and the gold clock numbers.
Step 9 Insert AA battery in clock movement. Set time.
