Project Instructions

Short 'n Sweet Toho Necklace:
 

Step 1 Cut six 12" strands and two 14" strands of jewelry wire.
 

Step 2 String a crimp bead on each strand.
 

Step 3 Loop the end of the wire back through the crimp bead to form a small loop. Crimp the bead with the crimping tool.
 

Step 4 String three 12" strands with orange E beads.
 

Step 5 End each strand with a crimp bead, loop end back through the crimp bead and previous beads to form a small loop at the end. Crimp with a crimping tool.
 

Step 6 String three 12" strands with fuchsia E beads and repeat Step 5.
 

Step 7 String two 14" strands with red E beads and repeat Step 5.
 

Step 8 Cut two 11"sections of chain.
 

Step 9 Double each section of chain. On the center link of one section, attach a jump ring and a lobster clasp. Connect lobster clasp to the center of the other doubled chain.
 

Step 10 Attach a jump ring to the end of the beaded red strands and the last link of the chains.
 

Step 11 Attach a jump ring to the fuchsia strands and the third and fourth links of the chain.
 

Step 12 Attach a jump ring to the orange strands and the fourth and fifth links of the chain.

 

Toho Trio Necklace:


Step 1 Cut a 20", an 18" and a 16" length of jewelry wire.

Step 2 Begin with the 20" wire and string on a crimp bead.

Step 3 Loop the end of the wire back through the crimp bead to form a small loop. Crimp the bead with the crimping tool.

Step 4 String on 54 purple metallic E beads, an orange E bead, 13 copper disks, an orange E bead, and 54 purple metallic beads.

Step 5 End this strand with a crimp bead, then loop end back through the crimp bead and previous beads to form a small loop at the end. Crimp with a crimping tool.

Step 6 Strand two: use the 18" wire strand and repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Step 7 String on 48 red E beads, a purple E bead, 11 copper disks, a purple E bead and 48 red E beads. Repeat Step 5.

Step 8 Strand three: use the 16" wire strand and repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Step 9 String on 45 orange E beads, a red E bead, 9 copper disks, a red E bead, 45 orange E beads. Repeat Step 5.

Step 10 String two eye pins with a purple E bead, copper disk and a purple E bead. Bend wire after the bead, trim and loop with a pair of round nose pliers.

Step 11 Cut two 4" sections of copper chain. Attach a lobster clasp to the end of one chain with a jump ring. Connect the two sections with the lobster clasp.

Step 12 Attach a beaded eye pin to each end of the chain sections with a jump ring.

Step 13 Cut two chain lengths of each size: three links, four links and five links long. Attach each section to loop of the beaded pins with a jump ring. Note: The shortest length should be on the inside and the longest on the outside.

Step 14 Attach a jump ring to the end of each beaded strand and attach each to the last link of the chain sections. (Purple, red and orange strands.)

 

Short Fringe Toho Bead Bracelet:

Step 1 Cut 6' length of Wild Fire line. Build the base of the bracelet first.

Step 2 Place a bead stop about 6" from the end of the line. Thread your bead needle.

Step 3 String on 15 seed beads and a toggle half. Remove the bead stop. Form a circle with the seed beads, pass the end of the line through the first seed bead, and knot.

Step 4 String on 60 metallic purple E beads, 15 seed beads and the other toggle half.

Step 5 Pass back through the last E bead and up, to begin making the fringe.

Step 6 String a red E bead, a seed bead, an orange E bead and a seed bead. Pass back through the red E, and the next purple bead on the base.

Step 7 String an orange E, a seed bead, a fuchsia E and a seed bead. Pass back through the orange E bead and the next purple bead on the base.

Step 8 Repeat pattern for the length of the bracelet. (Alternate the fuchsia E for a red E occasionally.)

Step 9 Pass through the seed bead loop and begin repeating fringe pattern for the opposite length of the bracelet.

Step 10 Knot and weave ends through the beads.
