Customer Reviews
Tulip® ColorShot Instant Fabric Color™ is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stencil Paint The paint was good. Once we got the knack of it, it worked better. It does have to dry 72 hours so it requires patience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works as good as expected If you want a crisp line and high contrast, you will want to read this. The first attempt, i just laid the shirt on the ground, taped the stencil down and started spraying. That did NOT turn out well. Even though i taped the stencil down, it just wasn't tight enough to leave a crisp line, it looked awful. So always use a scrap piece of fabric to try on first. This is how I got it to turn out well: 1. Stretch the shirt/fabric over a piece of cardboard or something and tape it. If there are any wrinkles they will show. This might seem like a hassle, but trust me, it makes a big difference. 2. Spray the back of the stencil with Temporary Adhesive Spray for fabric and place. This makes it so the color doesn't get under the stencil at all. Make sure to get the Temporary Adhesive so it doesn't leave residue on the shirt afterwards. I used this spray from Michaels and it worked perfectly. http://www.michaels.com/temporary-spray-adhesive/D008330S.html 3. Cover all existing exposed fabric with paper or cardboard and tape down so spray can't get into any cracks. I used masking tape so it didn't leave a sticky residue. 4. Spray even thin coats of color and make sure it dries completely before spraying the next coat. It takes several sprays to get the color opaque; and if you don't let it dry completely before the next coat, it will bleed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tulip Fabric Spray Paint It was bright and covered the fabric well. It just isn't much paint so you have to have a number of cans to cover things like patio cushions. I wish they made a large can with more pain like regular spray paint.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from easy to use easy to use. just shake the bottle and spray. you need a very light spray to get a neon color. I managed to spray 3 socks . used the entire bottle. Hardly any paint in this bottle. makes it expensive paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT COVERAGE I used this paint to "freshen" my wicker furniture cushions that were very faded. The look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Craft for the whole family We used color shot to make 16 t-shirts for the Fourth of July. We used 1 1/2 cans of blue & 2 1/2 cans of red. Came out great and did not wash out at all. Perfect for our craft and now I need to come up with some more ideas!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little Short Not enough in can to complete project. I bought it to do my lampshade but I could not finish it without buying another can. It should contain more paint for the price of it.
