upcycle: recycled soup can containers

Step 1
Recycle a tin can and clean it.
Step 2
Paint the outer layer of the can with Martha Stewart Crafts® Acrylic Craft Paint, letting some of the original tin show. Let dry. May need a second coat.
Step 3
Wrap bottom portion of the tin can with adhesive tape.
Step 4
Wrap yarn over the adhesive tape.
Step 5
Add your favorite pencils, pens and/ or markers.

Tip: Wrap cans with yarn, jute or twine.
