Finish this sentence: To me, creativity means….
Imagining endless possibilities and attempting to conquer them.
What type of projects do you do best?
Decorating interior spaces, organizing anything, designing jewellery, photography, rendering, and creating patterns.
What would you consider to be your signature technique or tip?
"When all else fails, add glitter!"
When did you first realize you were creative?
When I could change our living room sofa into a boat by simply using a broom for an oar. Creativity begins with your imagination.
What's the coolest thing you've ever created?
In the 3rd grade I sewed my first Halloween costume. I was an Octopus made out of an old sheet with stuffed newspaper into each of the legs. When I twirled the weight of the newspaper would make all of the legs fly up so I felt like a Ballerina Octopus. That's what every girl wants to be when they grow up, right?
What was your biggest creative goof? How did you fix it?
I knit my sister a scarf for Christmas one year and didn't finish it off correctly so before winter was over it was unraveling. I fixed it by giving up knitting. Sometimes it's good to focus on what you're good at and simply go to the store and buy the things you're not.
When and where do you feel the most creative?
In my home with the stereo turned all the way up!
What would be in your dream craft room/work space?
A labeled place for everything. I'm all about organization and easily finding things.
What tools and supplies do you always have on hand?
Prismacolor Markers, Color Pencils, a DIY Home Décor Magazine, a friend to help me move furniture, and plenty of food in the fridge to repay them.
What's your favorite color?
Any shade of Green.
What projects are you working on now?
I always have a piece of jewellery I’m working on and there's always a room in my house that’s half torn apart because I'm rearranging furniture, reorganizing, or hanging new artwork.
If you had a $100 Michaels gift card, what would you buy?
Jewellery supplies! Nothing can update an outfit like accessorizing.
