Project Instructions

Step 1:
Using a Martha Stewart Crafts® basic brush, paint the coaster with Martha Stewart Crafts® Satin Paint in Summer Haze.

Step 2:
When completely dry, use a decoupage brush and take your multi-surface durable decoupage in Matte finish and apply a layer of decoupage directly to the coaster in the desired area while simultaneously applying a layer of decoupage to your paper die-cut pieces.

Step 3:
Carefully place directly on your coaster to adhere, being sure to smooth out all bubbles and wrinkles.

Step 4:
Wait 1-2 hours before applying another layer of multi-surface durable decoupage in matte finish over your paper pieces to secure. Be sure to leave a minimum ¼" halo around the edges of your pieces for maximum adhesion.

Step 5:
For gilded edge, apply Martha Stewart Crafts® gilding adhesive to edge of coaster using gilding glue brush.

Step 6:
Follow instructions on sizing package and apply gold sheets. Use gilding brush to remove excess.
