Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick® Yarn 4.7 5 3 3
I will continue to use this! When I first started knitting a few years ago, I was unfamiliar with heavier yarns. I picked it up at the store, shrugged, and thought "I'll just give this a try." I did not regret my decision at all, ever! I have used Loops and Threads Cozy Wool yarn, but I was not as pleased. Lion Brand always has warm, soft, and easy to use yarn. I only buy my yarn when it is on sale because it is quite expensive. However, the quality is so high, I don't mind a few extra dollars. PS: Some colors have less yarn in the skein- I learned this the hard way. I had to buy two skeins for a project that is usually one! I made a smaller project with the rest, though. Check the labels if this may cause a problem! April 5, 2015
Wonderful yarn for arm-knitting I recently picked-up "Arm Knitting" after years of conventional knitting (Thanks, YouTube), and find that this yarn is amazing for such. It's quality is top-knotch: it is thick, cozy, and beautifully textured with various colors of fibers in many of the neutral colors. I'm making arm-knit scarves for all the fabulous ladies in my life for Xmas and I'm even now selling them on the side because they are so popular. Bottom line: this is the yarn for a quick/easy arm knitting project (or even large-stitch knitting/crocheting) and it's great quality for the money when on sale. You can get about 1.5 scarves from two skeins used together. November 11, 2014
A nice chunky yarn This is a great super chunky yarn that I'm using to make a table runner for Christmas. I would have rated it five stars but my second skein of yarn (out of the three I've used so far) was broken in two places and tied in knots so I had to join the same skein of yarn three different times. Other than that, I really like it. I used Starlight and the gold thread through the yarn is subtle and beautiful. October 25, 2014
