Letters
Step 1 Place each letter face down on the smooth side of the cardstock and trace with a pencil.
Step 2 Remove letter and carefully cut out using an X-ACTO® knife.
Step 3 Crumple the paper in sections. Paper may tear when crumpling, but it can still be used. Flatten the paper out and sand the surface. Wipe paper down with a Dust Buddy®. Apply Mod Podge® to the back side of the paper and adhere to the letter. Press paper down to make sure the edges are sealed. If your paper is larger than the wood letter, let the glue dry and then sand the edges of the letter to clean up. NOTE: Olive Core’dinations® cardstock was used on the letter X, Wild Honey Core’dinations® cardstock was used on the Y and and Fired Brick Core’dinations® cardstock on the letter Z.
Step 4 Ink the edges and portions of the letter with the Antique Linen stamp pad.
Step 5 Brush another coat of Mod Podge® over the letter. Let dry.
Step 6 Glue ribbon of your choice across the letter.
Step 7 Ink just the edges of the letter with the Crushed Walnut stamp pad. Hot glue wood appliqué to the letter.
