- Paintbrushes – #12 Flat, ¾" Flat and #4 Round
- Water Container
- Palette (or Plastic Plate)
- Paper Towels
- Zebra Border
- Cosmetic Sponge
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Painter’s Tape, 1"
Project Instructions
Step 1 Use Painter’s Tape to make a horizontal border 3½" from the bottom and 2½" from the top. Leave the tape on.
Step 2 Use a ¾" Flat brush to fill center with Turquoise Blue. Rinse brush. Remove the tape.
Step 3 Use same brush to paint the top and bottom Snow (Titanium) White.
Step 4 Then use a #4 Round brush to paint a Black Initial in the center of the turquoise. Let dry.
Step 5 Use same brush with white to make a shadow around the letter.
Step 6 Dip brush handle in Peony Pink to make polka dots in the letter.
Step 7 With same brush and color, paint a line where the turquoise touches the white on the top and bottom.
Step 8 Use the zebra border over the white areas. Take a cosmetic sponge lightly dipped in black and dab over stencil until all the white area has stripes.
