Excellent easel and storage box for art supplies
Very well designed easel and storage box/travel case for art supplies. It includes brushes, paints and other supplies as well, so at about fifty it is a good value.
Box is 13"x11.5"x4.4" when you don't include the handle. When the top support bar for the easel is extended it can support something about 20" tall. The width of your canvas will be supported by the 11.5" of the box.

Nice packaged set with everything to start.
I bought this deluxe set for the easel, since we are going to start painting on canvas in the future. The added plus is there are tubes of oil paints and watercolor paints, and colored pencils and brushes. There are drawing and painting papers also included. Nice started kit to learn to paint with and to try all different kinds of mediums.

Deluxe Art Set
Got this for my daughters 8th birthday. She loves painting, but hasn’t had her own paint set. I thought this was the perfect beginners set as it has a good variety of essentials. Can’t wait to give it to her! She loves to watch videos on techniques and everything so now she can try it out herself!

Not cotton canvas boards... no thinner for the oil
It’s is ok for kids. Not really usable for anything but play. The box is nice and worth three stars. I bought it for the travel easel/ carry case anyway. Only buy this kit for the wood carry case. This is not a good starter kit for learning to paint.

Good stuff, but what is it?
The quality is great but I wish things were labeled a bit better. For example, it lists the different types of brushes, but there's no way to determine which brush type is which (synthetic/natural/bristle) unless you already know.

I LOVE this set. What an excellent value as I bought it on sale. Caveat: I am an amateur. The variety of mediums gives me an opportunity to try each and decide what I like. I use the easel for sketching and drawing because the upward slope gives me more accurate perspective. The wood drawer and box are sturdy enough to carry. I did stain the box and clear coat the easel to add to the esthetics and protection. I wish I had seen this when I first began experimenting with art. The hardware is fine as is the handle. I didn't need the wooden palette so I turned it into wall art:)

This is definitely worth every penny, esp if you're a beginner! Comes with high quality paints, brushes, palettes, pastels...pretty much everything an artist could need except canvas. These mediums mix seamlessly. Mixed media can be hit or miss, but the pastel on top of acrylic paint was perfect for me. Literally has everything I need and then some!
