This painting turned out really well. It is bright and the colors are so well blended! It has received many compliments. Hard to believe the results are from a paint by number!
Needed good lighting and a magnifying light for the more intricate spaces. Once I found that out, the painting went well.

When I opened the kit, over half the paints were dry. This was a gift from my daughter, and when I contacted customer service they were less than helpful. Going to try paint thinner but very disappointed!!!

Too hard to see.
At first I thought that the printing was not even there on the canvas. Then I began to see the lines but I had to use a magnifying glass. Though I like the picture, I won't be able to do it - I'm barely able to see it.

Fun and comprehensive. Butterfly Paint by Number
I've purchased four different Paint-by-Number kids by Artist's Loft Necessities in three different difficulty levels and they are all very relaxing, easy to understand, and even educational and FUN! I say educational because I'm not much of an artist but doing these paint by numbers it helps me to better understand how different complimenting and contrasting colors work together to create different effects. I will continue to buy these as they're exactly what you'd expect and everything you need to complete them are included.
