Good basic paper.
For a basic watercolor paper this does the job! It lifts reasonably well, doesn’t pill easily, and I’ve used it to create a number of decent basic paintings. It’s not high end, but I’m very satisfied with the price for the quality.

Thicker than most watercolor paper I have tried. Great quality and does not shed at the use of markers or fine liners on top of the watercolor. Even if not meant for mixed media could be a great substitute.

Good paper for decent price
I used a lot of water on my paper which eventually warped it in my process, BUT after I put the dried project under some books and weights, it was completely flat by morning. I'm a watercolor beginner, so I have little previous comparison or expectations, but it seems like a quality pad.

Decent watercolor paper for the price
I was very surprised by the quality of this watercolor paper. I have used the lower quality 90 gsm watercolor by Artist's Loft and I was very disappointed. That one would buckle with just a drop of water and it would pill after two layers of watercolor paint. This one (300 gsm) doesn't buckle nearly as much and it handles water much better. Best of all, you can do multiple layers before you start to notice signs of overwroking the paper. Don't expect it to be like some other higher quality papers as it is meant to be entry-level and is best used as student grade paper. But for the price, you can't go wrong. I personally use this paper to practice on and use Canson for the final pieces.
