Great use for colored poster board by Creatology
I found an excellent use of the poster board as a teaching tool when I drew a map of Greece on a blue poster board, using soft pastels. I taped this up in front of my fifth grade class to teach them about Mt. Olympus and the Greek city states. It is a beautiful map, with the blue background representing the seas around Greece.

Great weight for backing a poster for framing.
Nice weight on this poster board. We needed a background to mount a cool musical poster and ticket in order to frame it. This worked perfectly. On a side note - we had to search around for black poster board for some reason - many places don't have it in stock. The Michael's website indicated that our local store didn't have any. We stopped in because we were looking for other things, and voila! there were several sheets of this in stock in the store. Sweet!
