Sharpener not up to standards
Didn't work out of the box and ended up returning it. For the price this seems to be cheaply built, expected a sturdier product with the X-Acto name brand.

Very convenient to have
I got the vertical model and it works wonderfully. I have arthritis so sharpening pencils became a pain in my wrists and knuckles. Now I feel like sharpening ALL my art pencils just because it’s fun now

Worth Every Penny
This electric pencil sharpener is worth every penny. It sharpens pencils to a nice point and doesn't cause breakage like so many of the handheld sharpeners or less expensive electric sharpeners do. Definitely a necessity if you plan on using pencils for drawing, drafting, or sketching.
