600 Alphabet Stickers for Kids is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good deal for a buck I finally started sorting out my papers and putting them in three ring binders....well because my son came over with 50 3" binders and said can you use them? okay fine. ended up being more like just over 100 and still need another 15 ish. the tape from brother labels work great but that stuff is VERY expensive. It sticks well. reusing some of my old 3 ring binders I noticed that there was no pulling up of anything.....after 15 years. can't tell you how the new stuff works but I didn't want to waste those tapes (which are hard to find these days for my machine and $$$$). so I went to wally world and bought 2 of these for 2.27 each and got thru about 20 is before I had to start 'improvising'. turning 1 into I. turning 5 into S. turning 3's around to form E's and when those run out coloring a bottom leg on an F. zero's for 0's. coloring the tops of k's to make R's. 7's upside down to make L's, Turning a V upside down and drawing a line across the center to make an A.....or closing the tops of H's to make a block A. We use a lot of A's in the English language. W's upside down is a sure fire M and if you black out all around a Q you have even more L's. Now after using ALL those tricks I could think of I was left with a bunch of useless numbers J's, G's, H's, P's, Q's, V's, W's X's, Y's, Z's and stragglers I moved what was left to fill in the empty spaces to see what I have left in total 5 3/4 pages of letter. Since there are 6 pages to begin with in each book, I am left with nearly 1 full book of letters I cannot use......unless I buy more. You have to laugh and wonder if that is the grand scheme of sticky letter making to keep you buying more. I mean we all speak the English language while using the English alphabet; so we all know there are at least 2 vowels in just about every 4+ letter words and there are only 5 of those out of 26 letters yet... we are given the exact same number of vowels as everything else......and how often do we use a Z or 6 pages 12 lines, 132 out of 600 available stickers. leaving of numbers when looking for Alphabet stickers? 170+ number stickers left out of 264 left that are no use. AKA a full page in each book and if I didn't change the numbers into letter it would be more. the stickers themselves are pretty good. except on one folder. for some reason they fall right of the binder every time I touch it. So I bought those plastic windows that cost a fortune for 6 ad put in a paper label. Sticks out but at least I don't find them on the floor when I turn on the lights. the rest of the stickers are able to be peeled off carefully and repositioned and even in the California heat. the inside of my home in the desert is at any giving time over 80 degrees and the labels are doing fine...except for the one. You have to clean the binders well. I used windex. we all use windex for everything don't we. On many of the multi 4 inch binders I used them like crosswords and repositioned them several times to make it all fit. dips, sauces, gravy, guac, spice mix, marinade, salsa, butter, spreads, dressings, mayo....I had little choice. the S's and 5's were all gone. but it looks cute. I even had to move the compound butters to their own 1 1/2" binder and moved the letter over. They are all still sticking. BUT any sticker I used a marker to color in and make new letters don't stick well at all. Had to use glue and sadly that most likely ever move. Well there you have it. with the choice that is out there and the flaws in the system this is the best bet if you need a bulk buy.
