Earthy and subtle.
I sprayed the frame with Shellac to enrich the look of the wood. Cut off the string and put a hanger on the back. Came out beautiful in my beach look room.

Not a chalkboard
I was making a “verse of the week” sign for my daughter, so I thought this would be perfect when I found it!! It’s wide and it’s a ‘chalkboard’ so I could erase and rewrite a new verse weekly! Wrong was I!!! I used chalk markers and went to wipe it off...nothing! I even used a windex spray with ammonia... it faded slightly. I’m so disappointed. Do not purchase if you plan to erase and reuse! So bummed:/

Not a true working chalkboard
Even after "priming" the chalkboard completely and wiping it off, this product fails to allow you to write on it successfully with chalk. It may work well as a permanent sign with paints letters, etc. but it does not work as a chalkboard used with indoor chalkboard chalk.

I was able to put it on a wreath I made for my daughter in law for her classroom door so she could put her name on it or write any greeting she wants depending on the Holiday ! I was able to buy all my products at Michaels my favorite store I can't wait to go back to make fall wreaths
