Easy to Work with
The box was easy to work with. I did remove all the hardware while I painted and varnished the box. The box became a beautiful piece of art with a leather top and a suede lining.

Ok for price but hope it holds up
Great little box for the price, love the size. Had to be sanded but no big deal. Very worried the latch on the back will not hold very long. Most in the store looked like they were falling apart, I tried to picked the most sturdy I could find. Fingers crossed this holds together.

lightweight, simple, lovely box. The wood takes paint very well. The little magnet inset in the wood makes closing it nice, so it stays closed. Just a great little box.

wonderful item in more than 1 way
These wooden boxes are more amazing than you think. They do in fact provide storage, but even upon disassembling them I've used them as compartments inside other storage pieces, and even used the hinges and lids in other art projects!
Even the product itself is a fun activity for my 10 year old to paint!

A little wooden box and a home made violin
during covic, I decided to make a violin out of a piece of wood 4inches by 16 inches. It played well but was not very loud so, I bought a wooden box from michials and drilled sound holes and stained it and and attached it to the violin. It enhanced the sound greatly.
