Paint ok but Red ruins this as a starter set
As a starter set, I expect to find black, white, and the primary colors red, yellow and blue. With these five colors beginning painters should be able to learn to create any color they want by mixing. I'm an experienced painter and I picked up this set to use with students. Imagine the shock and disappointment when I was showing them how to create purple using red and blue, but kept getting Brown. Turns out the brilliant red in this site has yellow undertones so it is more in the orange family. So you can't properly next ride to create any shade of purple or violet because anytime you mix this ride with blue you get brown. That is unacceptable for a set that is intended to allow beginners to work using primary colors. Also I'm not crazy about the fact that a lot of these pants are translucent. That also seems like the anti basic. This should be a basic opaque starter set that allows proper mixing of colors. For me this is a total fail. I was able to paint a nice painting without utilizing any red but that is not the point of this set.

Artists Loft Paints
I make kindness rocks, I wanted to make starter kits for my fellow painter.
I got the 6pack of Artists Loft Paint and the paint holders also a six strip. Worked out wonderfully!

Pigment in paint very poor quality
Colors did not blend together. I was teaching kids how to make different colors with the primary colors. Blending was awful .colors were bad /ugly .
