Adjustable Craft Stand by Loops & Threads™ is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good description It was fun to put together, and I love the flexibility to move it around to change my sitting position. I just wish it included a magnifying glass and a light. But that is just a wish, not that it is incomplete

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adjustable craft stand I liked that this product is mostly wood. I bought it for embroidery, which is what is pictured holding on the box... so I'm assuming is its intended use? However I think the wood is a bit flimsy for it to be a floor stand, because there's a lot of bounce when the needle goes through... I re-arranged the wooden pieces to shorten the arm (turning it into a desk stand) and it's much more stable that way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes crafting easier The instructions are awful, a labeled picture of the disassembled pieces and lots of tiny text on how to assemble them. Lay out all the pieces by size and use both the instructions and the picture on the box, done in 30 minutes with minor headache. The wood pieces aren't the highest quality and could use another fine sand, but it's serviceable. Don't run your fabric across any rough patches and it will be fine. Similar to other reviews, it is not the most stable in regards to wing nut tightness - left overnight, it will droop over. I went to Rona and bought 12x 1/4" washers for each screw (0.08$ each, not a huge investment), and it is staying up much better than it was previously. It could also use one more handle screw instead of a wing nut, but I just exchanged the 360 degree wing nut with the lowest stand handle, and it's been fine. The screws are size 5 metric (8mm) if you have a hardware store that sells something handles-y. However, beyond its negatives, it has made my embroidery SO MUCH EASIER. Particularly, I'm doing a piece with a billion french knots, and it is SO CONVENIENT to have something holding my hoop so I can use both hands to twist the thread on my needle. I also appreciate the three point adjustment so that I can put my hoop at the precise angle that works for me. This is also HUGE. I apparently didn't do a good job of reading the box, because it is three feet tall. If you are expecting something tabletop, find another one. But it has been very nice and very convenient for setting up in front of me on the couch and watching TV while stitching. So, loses a star for quality, but I think it was a worthwhile buy - just make sure you use a coupon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing Glue I bought this on 3/31. Tried to assemble it, and the embedded screws were not glued in properly, so the stand cannot attach to the base. I can fix it, but no manufacturer contact information was a but disappointing. Have your wood glue ready.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Knobs strip quickly The stand itself is alright (slightly wobbly but not terrible) and I was okay with it for the price I got it for on sale. However, less than 3 months of twice-a-week use after purchasing it and both a wing nut and a knob has stripped and I expect more will soon. They are metric size 5 and for what its worth, impossible to find in my area. The knobs are $15+ to order online. Using the wing nuts on the top bar (where you put your project) is also very difficult - they would be better with knobs. Now I have a useless stand because two screws can't tighten, unless I spend money buying new knobs/wingnuts online. I thought I'd be okay with this one because I was new to cross stitching, but it barely lasted 3 months. Definitely skip this and get a better quality stand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I spend a few more dollars on a better stand I’ve seen this stand in the store for a while and finally caved and bought it. I was really excited to put it together but it’s pretty disappointing. The wood is rough and not sanded well. The joints that are supposed to pivot are single point, which is fine, but there’s nothing but pressure to keep it from moving even after you’ve tightened, so it’s pretty difficult to get it tightened in place without using pliers on the wing nuts. The two upright pieces that connect the stand to the base are just short pieces of threaded rod with some kind of glue on the threads. They feel out as soon as I picked them up so now I either need to buy new hardware or glue the pieces together and lose the ability to take the stand apart if I want to. I’m pretty disappointed in the quality. For the price the hardware should at lease be appropriate and functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good hoop holder Not easy to put together but not too difficult. Larger print would help. Lightweight, fits different size hoops. Easily adjustable to fit to proper height. Especially helpful for those with arthritis, carpal tunnel, and other challenges that make crafting a frustration rather than a joy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More black knobs needed, but overall effective. Overall really good product. Only complaints I have are that it really needs to have two more of the adjustable knobs. One at that center back position and another under the farthest down one. I have been able to adjust it to fit under a desk but sometimes it will slip. With the wingnut at the back, I know I have to turn my project over when I start a new piece of thread or if my thread knots up and I cant be the only one. I think it would help stabilize when you have to do that.
