The tacky glue has resolved alot for me
This tacky glue is stronger and bonds quicker than normal glue, have use it to repair a multitude of things, and art project for the kids as well. Since it is thicker and tackier it holds the items in place until it dries.

great glue for tacking fabric
This is the product I use when making custom padded valances for my window treatments. Hot glues cool too fast and burn fingers too easily. I find this product tacks fast enough to hold to the cardboard backing and when I need extra help, straight pins help till the fabric bonds to the cardboard.

Goes on thick & easy and does not run, stay in place. Its tacky so it holds in place and dries in a few hours. Dries clear too.

Great for crafts
Still one of the best crafting glues around. It holds ribbon roses and acrylic jewels on my scrapbook and card projects and cleans up easily. More reliable hold than glue sticks although you have to be careful not to use too much on paper projects so the paper doesn't buckle.

I have used Alene's Tacky Glue for years with perfect results. Just glued the wood heavy wind chimes hang from & it is STURDY! I highly recommend over all other glues. Dries clear, works quick but leaves enough time to adjust your project.

Does Tacky Glue work?
Yes, yes it does. I am gluing together foam, paper mache, and wood together. This glue works for all three. Remember that it takes time to set up and isn't "instant" glue, especially for foam. 24 hours seems to be the best for the bond.

Tacky glue
I bought this because the bottle indicated 25% more and it was less expensive than Elmer's glue. It seems to take so long to flow from the nozzle that I removed the cap to look inside. I haven't used much and the bottle is less than 2/3 full. Will buy Elmer's in the future.
