It makes a difference!
I was using a plastic crochet hook and my stitches were kind of tight so my friend suggested I try a metal hook to see if my stitches would be looser and it worked!

Nice set of larger needles.
Was not able to use these as planned, but have some othe projects in mind for which the entire set will be quite helpful. Aluminum, comfortable to use, doesn't snag my yarn. Yeah..

I'm not overly excited about these hooks. Love the size but don't like the hooks.
The yarn does not slide easily therefore crocheting isn't enjoyable!
