Easy to use and looks fantastic on my chaise
After looking at many tutorials I used this chalk paint in restoring my vintage chaise to match my decor. Great results! 1:2 water and 3 jars later it’s gorgeous

Okay product - Bad directions, Little coverage
I got the Lace and it is a nice color. 8oz says it cover 60 sq ft. It covered - just - my small nightstand. The nightstand was dark and while the paint does not say to sand, I sanded anyway. Where I did not sand, the paint stuck great, too, so it's not necessary. But I definitely needed between 3 and 4 coats for full coverage.
The directions are simply awful. I paint a lot. Directions should tell you how long to wait between coats AND how long to wait before you put the wax on. Neither the paint nor the wax tells you that. They say "put a second coat when the first coat is dry." However, chalk paint FEELS chalky. Is it ever really dry? IDK.
I gave it 3 stars because bad directions and it needs a lot of paint for coverage. It does look nice once finished, but if another brand cost more and covered in fewer coats, I'd absolutely go there.

the color "keepsake" is nothing like pictured
the color keepsake is a bright teal with more green than pictured online. See the photo for the online color versus actual. I am disappointed.

Worth it!
Stumbled upon this on sale and glad I bought two. Was easy to apply and I could have gotten away with one coat but I used a white nail buffing block, second coat and buffed again. PERFECT! Now to figure out what to paint next...

Finally found Navy chalk paint
3 thin coats worked best to get a true even navy color . Needed to buy a second jar but not available at all Michael’s stores . Did a 4 drawer dresser .
