Summer Centerpiece
To create a great summer centerpiece, take two clear glass vases with wide opening at the top. The vases should be about 10" to 12" tall. Pour sand into the vases to reach about a quarter of the way up to the top. Drop a pillar candle in each vase. They will look beautiful, and the wind won't blow them out! These pillar candle pair are the perfect size for this look.

Pretty and Functional
Picked this set up to use in an arrangement on my coffee table. They look great; they're currently in an arrangement with silk flowers and greenery. Will use these for future seasonal decor too, as well as occasionally on my sconces, etc. and other spots around the house. Love that they're a neutral color, so they will go with pretty much anything I decide to use them in around my home. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

The wick stops working just below the 3 inch mark.
I have bought 3 of these candle pairs and in every case, the candle goes out and it won't re-light after the candle has burnt down just below the 1/2 way mark, even though there is a 1/4 inch or more of wick sticking out of the candle. Very poor quality and quite expensive, given that you can only get just over 50% life out of them.

Inner and outer candle burn differently
They start out fine - look lovely but after burning for about 2 hours they develop a "slumped" outer skin and the inner part burns on. After about 4 hours the "slumpy" outer skin develops a hole that the wax inside starts to spill out of and can damage surfaces or wreaths. I just started a new candle but 2/3 of the candle is wasted.

I am a constant candle burner and I do not like paying for overly expensive candles, especially if they are not worth it. These candles burn nice and evenly and I like that they do not have a scent as I suffer from migraines.
