If you like the beige doily/Edison lightbulb/farmhouse/lace fringe/summer night aesthetic that calls for lace weight mercerized cotton, this is what you should buy to stock up. It's not as high quality as what you get in local shops for more money, but it's certainly an economical choice. I'm currently knitting a lace top from it. Great summer look.

Excellent in every way
I have used Aunt Lydia's size 10 in many crochet projects, and in several different colors; from garments to home decor and have been 100% satisfied with every item.
It has an excellent amount of twist on it so no matter what size hook I use it never snags. If I want the item I am crocheting to be supple I use thicker hooks and if I want it to hold it's shape I use thinner hooks and all come out perfect.

Aunt Lydia Croche Thread
I do a lot of crocheting. I do both yarn and thread crochet. Right now, I am making doilies and I do expert level patterns. I have found Aunt Lydia crochet thread to be the best thread for the value to work with. It has a "natural give" to it which makes it great to work with. The thread won't shrink when hand washed and it will retain it's shape. I really like Aunt Lydia crochet thread.
