These baking strips are the truth! I have used them and they have never failed in baking my cakes evenly and keeping them moist.

I don't think they worked very well for me. The strip slid off the pan and it was difficult to attach it snuggly. Also if your pan is deeper that the strip, it probably won't help either.

Cake Strips / Straps
Cake bake more evenly with little to no doming. Cakes don't have the brown caramelization on them. Saves time from cutting tops off and trimming edges. Creates less cake waste.

Even, but raw cakes.
I'll give it one star because it *is* even. However, my cakes WILL NOT FULLY BAKE. To use these, you must need to change a recipe because I'm failing miserably, even with my go-to recipes. Cakes have been dense and underbaked, even with the top getting crispy. A huge disappointment. A birthday cake ended up being inedible because it wasn't visible where it was still gooey - not moist where we were mistaken but partially baked batter we all poked around in. Another layer cake recently collapsed. I make this recipe all the time and have never had issues. When I say it collapsed, I mean I had to scream for help while I was holding the cake together. Will never use again.

They don't work
I've tried using these 5 different times. The first 2 times I thought maybe I hadn't soaked them long enough, so I made sure to soak them *overnight* the next 3 times. I also washed them to see if they would soften up and maybe hold water better. I tried not squeezing out any water between soaking and attaching to the pan. They just don't work. Cakes come out domed as if there's nothing wrapped around them. I'm gonna use a water bath next time. For me, this was a total waste of money.
