At work, we have this "secret Santa-thing" going on and one of the gifts my SS gave me was a pair of dangly, Christmas ball earrings...for pierced ears.  My SS said the color of the earrings would match my eyes.  Sweet thought, but I'm a throwback from yester-year.  My family did not approve of piercing one's ears and even though I'm an adult, I just never did it.  And as an older individual the time for even "wanting" pierced ears has evaporated.  I do like wearing earrings though and had to find a converter to switch from a fishhook pierced, to a clip on.  This was a God-send to find and pretty easy to switch out the earrings, which I can now wear!
