Perfect tool for beautiful shapes

TERRIBLE
These pliers don't fully close. This means that the only size loops you can really make with any kind of wire are the tiniest ones. When the tips of the pliers close, the larger barrels don't close enough to grip the wire. Really, terrible quality. And for a pretty high price. Truly regret buying.

great tool for my bead work
I love that it fits well in my hand, having three sizes in one saves time and trouble. Though I feel the price was a bit high. I found another that was better and at a better $ so I shall go with the other brand from now on.( please removed the nickname @#$%-- I found it to be a pain)

They used to be great
The pair I got a few years ago are very functional with no noticeable flaws. However, I notice the country of origin has since changed and it is currently very difficult to locate another pair without flaws in the machining of the cylinders. These are so very useful, so I hate that I can no longer recommend the current version.

Very poorly machined
These pliers were awful.
They were so poorly machined the jaws did not close, so the wire could not be formed in a complete loop. And the way it was a packaged, I couldn't even do this rudimentary test before I bought them and opened the blister pack.
The jaws were also not *round* so even if they had closed tightly, wrapping the wire around them would result in a flat-sided loop, not round.
The steps of the jaw were not uniformly cylindrical, so even if the resulting flat-sided loop was acceptable, it would not slide off the form.
The pliers were already beginning to rust and the oil used during transport oozed a rusty mess.
All in all, these were an overpriced pair of pliers that were terrible.
If I were Michael's, I'd be ashamed to have had them on the shelf and I'd give the manufacturer a close review. I ended up buying a really well-made pair of professional pliers at a small bead shop for only $19.
