Save your money - do not buy!
Unfortunately these were my first purchase of nylon jaw flat nose pliers which ended up being a waste of money. The "nylon" (more like a weak plastic) cover was almost instantly damaged upon gently trying to flatten or smooth dead soft wire. They went into the trash after only 5 minutes of trying to use them. I ended up having to buy a couple of pair off another website that do NOT become damaged with use.

Exactly what I needed
I got this because I had some but they were different. I kept seeing that more people used this one. I got it and it does straighten wire perfectly without marring it or flattening it. Wish I had bought these years ago. I started making jewelry in 1987 and never considered buying nylon jaw pliers. The first time I used them I was ecstatic. Not a single mar on my wires and the only pilers that can smooth out bends in wires as if pulled through a drawplate. Worth the tiny price a thousand times over.
