Lots of yardage for the price
I like the Bernat Velvets (both regular and baby) for making scarves and throws. Some have said the price is high, but the yardage is also quite high. I always purchase with a 40% or 50% coupon making it worth it. I do not know how it holds up under washing. I would only handwashing it.

Beware! Do not waste your money on this yarn.
It looks and feels nice, but it is not good quality yarn. The skeins are a mess to deal with, having a lot of tangles and a lot of knots. However, the worst part is that it does not wash well. Washing distorts the yarn and puts holes in it. This is after I put it on the delicate cycle and put it in a lingerie bag. This is the first time I have ever had a complaint about yarn, and this yarn is very pricey. I ordered online,and now I am hoping that I can return the unused skeins. Not only am I frustrated after putting a lot of time in the project with this yarn, but I am angry that this yarn is out there, pricey as it is!
