Project Note: Two Skeins of each yarn is needed to complete this project. MEASUREMENT: Approx. 60" square GAUGE: 7½ sts and 16 rows = 4" in garter stitch INSTRUCTIONS: Stripe Pat With A: 8 rows. With B: 4 rows. With C: 2 rows. With D: 4 rows. With A: 2 rows. With B: 4 rows. With C: 8 rows. With D: 4 rows. These 36 rows form Stripe Pat. Blanket: With A, cast on 2 sts. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows: 1st row: Kfb. K1. 3 sts. Beg Stripe Pat and cont as follows: 2nd row: (RS). K1. (M1. K1) twice. 5 sts. 3rd row: Knit. 4th row: K1. M1. Knit to last st. M1. K1. 5th row: Knit. First 4 rows of Stripe Pat are complete. Rep 4th and 5th rows until work along straight side edge measures 60" , ending on a 5th row. Cont in Stripe Pat, dec as follows: Next row: (RS). K1. ssk. Knit to last 3 sts. K2tog. K1. Next row: Knit. Rep last 2 rows until 3 sts rem. Next row: K3tog. Fasten off.
