Cost-Effective Way to Make a Print a Little Fancy
The double black matte adds a cost-effective sophistication to any print which is what I liked. The frame itself tends to get finger prints on it easily so just be aware of how you're handling it. However it's a wonderful value!

Nice if not damaged
Purchased 8 of the 8x10 (18x18) frames. Pictures look very nice in the frames that were undamaged. However, 4 of the 8 received were damaged with either cracked corners or chips out. All of the issues were hidden under corner cardboard covers. I ordered online so of course couldn’t inspect first. They were shipped in multiple boxes with good padding so I believe they were damaged prior to shipping. 50% damage is bad odds. Be sure to inspect every corner if you plan to purchase. I’m frustrated with the need to return and don’t know if I want to take the chance of receiving undamaged frames.

Gallery Quality Style and Elegance
Having owned a professional photography studios and gallery in NY for 20 years, and having done our own custom matting and framing, we are always on the look out for Gallery Quality Ready Made Frames. We have found it. Possessing an elegant style, the double mat feature of this frame sets any image off with a feel that can only be likened to custom framing. Offered with assorted mats, we chose the black on black (rather that a back with white inner mat and vice versa) as it perfectly set off the image we planned for it. I plan to go back and get several more to have on hand. There is no image that would not be enhanced by this frame.

Love the Square format
The well made square frames work will with prints of my watercolor paintings and the mats are a bonus. Have purchased the smaller squares in 3 finishes too.
