My Little Blue Jay
I love my little Blue Jay. He looks so real & is sitting in a Pretty Jewish Vine Plant, that's hanging on my wall. I was unexpectedly Divorced at age 72 (After many years) & very ill. My daughter took me in & after 3 years of living with her family, I have been able to get a little Senior Apartment (& Decorate it to my personality). My little Blue Jay sits there reminding me of a past long ago. I was widowed & 5 years before my husband died, my little son found a baby Blue Jay in the street. My husband hand fed the little bird till he could fly away. The Blue Jay came back constantly to visit him & my husband kept raw peanuts & would hand feed him. My little Michael's Blue Jay helps me recall beautiful Memories Daily!

My Tree of Life project for my sister!
It is very real looking. I bought him to place my my dear sister’s Tree of Life Tree at her memorial. She loved Blue Jays in her garden so I bought him to sit in this tree we have made for her. We will place white tags with tiny tree imprints on them. Notes will be written to her as we tell her how much she mattered to us. The Blue Jay bird will watch over tiny bird nests with eggs in them I made from Michael’s selection of craft materials. He will be perfect to sit at the top overlooking the eggs in the tiny nests. Thank you Michael’s for making my project easy to complete. My sister would love this! He is perfect and looks real, too!

The picture online was recently changed from blue
When I ordered the bluejay the picture was blue online. They changed the picture online after I ordered it. The bird I received is purple.

There Are Two Color Options
Calling this a blue bird is misleading. There are two distinct color options. One is a true blue (although not vibrant like a bluejay) while the other color option is a dusty purple/mauve. They should advertise it as a multi color option instead of falsely stating it is a blue bird only. I'm having to return as a result since I only need blue birds.

I have had a hard time finding good quality realistic clip on birds. This bluejay surpassed all my expectations. It has beautiful colors, realistic and a good quality clip. Definitely recommend.

Pretty!
This bird is a little under 6" long, including tail. From other reviews, I can say that mine is a dusky blue -- but definitely blue. It has an alligator clip on the bottom to attach to your projects, no feet. The details are well-done, quality seems great. I'm very happy. See pictures in two different lights.

This is a beautiful bird accent though the color is NOT blue. The color is unmistakably a violet / purple. Very beautiful, though if you're going for a particular color scheme definitely keep that in mind.
