bunny easter egg
No doubt about it, this bunny is the sweetest! We love its long lashes and rosy cheeks! We also love how easy it is to make so what are you waiting for?
Step 1 |
Let’s start by painting the entire egg with Fawn paint, or paint the bunny your favorite color. Let it dry. TIP: You might need to touch up a few places after your first coat, so add a little more paint to each egg if you think it’s necessary. |
Step 2 |
Use the black paint pen to give your bunny an adorable twitchy nose and two long-lashed eyes. You can copy the way we did it or design your own face. When you’re done, let the paint dry before moving to the next step. TIP: To make sure your paint pens work, shake them well before you open the packaging. Prime each pen by gently pressing its tip onto a piece of scrap paper. Push the barrel up and down (carefully) until the paint flows down to the tip. |
Step 3 |
Use the pink paint pen to draw two rosy cheeks on your little bunny. Let the paint dry. |
Step 4 |
Cut two 4" pieces from the chenille pipe cleaner. Fold each one in half (but don’t crease the fold, leave it nice and round) to form your bunny’s ear. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: To complete the bunny, simply use your hot glue gun to fasten both ears to the top of the egg. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
