beautiful colors but knots and die issues
I actually love working with this yarn because the colors are wonderful and thick yarn works up quickly. But the purpose of self-striping cakes is to reduce the ends to weave in and they knot the yarn in unexpected places within the cake. Also, there tends to be die from other colors of the yarn appearing where it shouldn't and at times it looks like mistakes or dirt.

Great for children's blankets
Soft, thick, bright colors. Works up quickly as a bulky 5 weight. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because each cake will always have an odd join/ knot or fuzzy/thinning spot, at least once. However, cutting our a small piece to reknot isn't a big deal. Buy on sale for best value.

so squishy and soft
This yarn is so thick and soft, it makes the perfect crochet blankets. I've gone through 6 skeins of this yarn and only once found a knot with 2 ends tied together. it also washed really well and only gets more squishy and soft with each wash!!
