Helping by Giving
I make baby blankets and give them to the NICU at our local hospital FMC. I want to give back because several of my daughters friends had babies that would up in the NICU and I wanted the babies nice and warm and cozy and to feel loved. They have such a difficult road ahead of them.

Love them!
I just started crocheting a little over a year ago and it has taken me until now to try the Caron Cotten Cakes. I’m a fan and will definitely be using them again. I love the colors, especially frozen yogurt, but mostly I love the way the yarn feels not only once it’s been worked up but also while I’m working with it. Combined with the smoothness of my Tulip crochet hooks, I find this yarn so pleasant and easy to work with. I would love to see these come out in solid colors. Perhaps they do come in solids, but I haven’t seen any. I look forward to trying more Caron cake yarns.

I do love the colors of this yarn and it works up really beautifully however there seams to be a lot of knots tying the yarn together. Would have been a 5 star if not for that.

Pretty colors.
I love the colors of this yarn, but it is a long time before the next color starts. I was using this on my knitting loom, and the yarn is not very stretchy, making it a little bit difficult to work with. It is pricey, but I got mine on clearance.

I love this yarn
As a beginner, I have tried working with many different cotton/cotton blend yarns and I find them difficult to work with, they split or do not slide well on my hooks. I do not have any issues with this yarn at all!! If I had one complaint is that there isn't a thicker option (at least not that I have found yet)
