Caron® x Pantone™ Yarn is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 123.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wanted to love it, but... This product gets A+ for marketing but D for function. I loved the packaging and colors. That’s what got me to buy it. But using it was a different story. There was not enough yarn to finish stripes in the hat patterns. I made a basic hat in garter stitch and this yarn was not forgiving if you had to undo stitches and rows. The yarn strands did not stay together. WOn e hat was finished, the stitches pulled very easily leaving loops sticking out. Very disappointing! I would not recommend this yarn.b

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super soft and great stitch definition! I have made a couple of projects with this yarn now and they have all turned out great! However, I am also used to using skeins of yarn not pre-wound balls so I am not easily frustrated by the smaller put up of each skein. I just made a baby hat and the price point for the quality was perfect for me. My advice for new to skeins crafters: google the Caron Pantone video tutorial available online on how to disassemble the yarn and winding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels great! I enjoyed the feel of the yarn. This was my first experience with Fair Isle technique, so it was really nice to use this colorful and bulky yarn to learn with. I would definitely buy it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Soft and Pretty but Pain To Work With First, when I saw this yarn, I was excited. Beautiful colors, so soft, and would be beautiful in a scarf. Bought it and brought it home to start my project. Then, my frustration began...it tangles easily when you undo the "packaging". It is tied in together to fit the Pantone look but I've spent a lot of time untangling it. Finally, just tied ends together as I rolled it so I could work with it. So...that's why it has 3 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's really soft, but... Each loop of the yard comes off as an individual skein. It's inefficient and annoying to have it cut up this way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice yarn, but the put up length is ridiculous I am not of huge fan of acrylic yarn, but this yarn has a blend of wool and nylon and is very soft, with a nice twist, pleasant to work with. HOWEVER, these skeins are just 5, 25 gram pieces of yarn, not one entire skein, even the solid colors. Why oh why would someone think this was a good idea?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes i love it * I made a little dress for a 1-2 year old girl and I liked it because it was so soft.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely yarn but time consuming to unbundle and use The yarn is lovely, but the colours are bundled and you need to separate them, and roll them into a ball before you can start working with them. Buy more than you think you need for your project, otherwise you may not finish if the yarn is out of stock.
