One pencil cracked and two others kept breaking off the lead while using the sharpener.

Don’t buy
Bought this set , because I needed a white charcoal pencil. I decided to do some drawings with the black charcoal pencils. Started to sharpen the soft charcoal pencil and it cracked. Sharpened the hard charcoal used for a while, but when I needed to sharpen the point would break in sharpener.I wish I had read reviews. I had these a week. Please don’t waist your money.

Don’t buy
Wish I read the reviews before buying. Impossible to sharpen, keeps breaking. Would not recommend for anyone.

JUNK and Waist of money
I wish I looked at reviews before buying this in store. These should be taken off shelf. unable to sharpen - tried all different ways, but would break before I could even start drawing. Major inconvience with my travels I bought these to sketch during my flight.

No bueno
The "soft" pencil in this set is impossible to sharpen, kept breaking. Tried 4 different methods including the sharpener that came with the set, no luck. However, I could sharpen the harder ones.

dropped my money right in the trash
These break very easily and my entire charcoal stick fell out of the wood and into the trash while sharpening.

I have to agree with other reviwers
These charcoal pencils are practically useless. I eventually got through a drawing using them, but the constant breaking was frustrating. Didn't smudge as easily as I'd like either. I wish I had read reviews before I purchased.
