christmas friendship bracelet stack

Feeling nostalgic? Try making this Christmas Friendship Bracelet Stack! It’s a timeless trend you can share with your parents, kids and friends!!
Step 1

First, cut a 10" length of Stretch Magic® jewelry cord for each stretch bracelet.

Step 2

Thread your beads as desired.

Step 3

Tie the Stretch Magic® into a tight surgeon’s knot, then tuck its ends back through the closest beads.

Step 4

Add a dab of bead stringing glue to the knot. Now, pull the ends tight, so the two adjacent beads press together tightly, hiding the knot. Trim the ends of the stretch cord, then set your bracelet aside to dry before you wear.

Step 5

To make the “Jolly” striped bracelet, measure and cut one 72" length of white and bright green cords. Cut two 72" lengths of red cords.
TIP: This measurement is based on a 7" wrist. Adjust lengths of floss cord as needed.

Step 6

Gather cords together and align them so they are even then fold them in half. Cut open the folded end.

Step 7

Slide the alphabet beads onto all of the cords and slide them to the middle. Tie an overhand knot on each end of the beads to secure in the center.

Step 8

Tape to your working surface above the knot on one side of your alpha beads. You will work from the knots down the bracelet.

Step 9

Now, separate the cords so you have two strands of each color together and arrange so they are in order as you would like your stripes from left to right.
TIP: You will work two strands of the same color together so your knots are a little bulkier than they would be if working only one. For the bracelet shown, the cords are arranged: bright green (A), white (B), red (C) and red (D).

Step 10

To start the knotting process, place the cords on the left (A) perpendicular over the second set of cords (B) cords, creating a “4” shape. Next, wrap the A cord ends under the B cords and thread through the loop of the “4” shape and pull the ends so the knot moves up to the top. Repeat for a second knot.

Step 11

Repeat Step 10 but this time knot the A cords over your C cords. Then again over your D cords.
TIP: Your A cords are now all the way over to the right.

Step 12

Repeat Steps 10-11 with your B cords and work them across all cords.

Step 13

Continue this pattern for about 2" and tie an overhand knot to secure. Braid the excess and knot the end.

Step 14

Turn your bracelet around and Repeat Steps 8-13 for the other side of the alphabet beads.

Step 15
To wear, tie together the braided ends.
