Chunky Boho™ Yarn by Loops & Threads® is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE, this yarn. I have read all the reviews for this yarn and I can't disagree more about some of the things that are being said. Yes this yarn sheds but it's well worth it for the project you end up with. I found this yarn on sale so it was a great deal. I bought every single ball they had in this amazing variegated teal colour. I started out with a V Stitch pattern and ended up having to change the pattern so that the blanket had some more stability. I did 4 rows of V Stitch then 4 rows of single crochet. This is only the second thing that I have crocheted so I wanted a basic pattern that I could memorize. I wasn't ready for a Lucy Neatby or Xandy Peter's type pattern in a crochet, just baby steps. So yes there is not a lot in a skein BUT it's right on the label, it not like you did not know this going in???? I did have to get some more yarn to finish up my blanket but it was well worth it in the end. I originally thought that I would have enough yarn but I forgot that crochet uses twice the yarn, this is definitely a knitting yarn . The first store had about 16 balls, I then found another 6 balls, I had a heck of a time finding more that would match. I ended up getting a solid colour to finish up the blanket and could not be happier with my final project. I will say that it does weigh a ton!!!! Each ball is almost a pound and I used well over 25 balls to make my blanket that is just under 25 pounds!! Hahaha, so I won't be putting it in my luggage or the mail. This season the weighted blanket it super hot right now, so I figured that I made one that doesn't have all those silly glass or poly bead in it. As I said earlier I could not be happier with my project and anyone who has been over and used the blanket loves it. Wish I could get some more...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect warm blanket I bought this wanting to make a chunky blanket out of it and ended up making a very comfy heavy blanket. The yarn itself is not the best but if you can over look knots in the yarn and blanket, and how much it sheds while knitting, it is a great throw for very cold winter days or You just want to veg in front of the tv. Gave them as gifts to my niece and nephew and they absolutely love their blankets!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made a beautiful rug! The yarn is thick, so use the correct size needles! I crocheted a round rug, it took 16 skeins for a 4' wide rug. It was a bit fuzzy, but nothing major. The colors, and heaviness made it perfect for a bedroom rug. I wouldn't use it in high traffic area. I crocheted a bit of gold throughout to give it a special touch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BIG FAT MESS I used 8 skeins using size 10 needles and ended up with a 17"x36" rug like object. I gave up after that for a few reasons: The yarn is cumbersome to work with, the yarn sheds and the colors I was using were no longer in stock. I had no idea that the skeins would only produce a small amount of rwos....I guess it will be turned into a very heavy tote bag

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MESSY, small & Beautiful This yarn is beautiful and messy! There are yarn dust balls all over my apartment and clothes from this yarn! ha it makes me laugh, I had to go out and buy a lint roller!!!! Shame it is out of stock... Only 1/4th way through making a blanket with this yarn and have already used 12 skeins, (it is heavy and think), so basically I have an over sized rug scarf that no one will ever wear... If this helps any one I casted on 150 with this blanket and I can finish 4 rows out of one skein... ha I need at least 32 more skein to finish this burden of a project... thanks loops and threads, good job...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fuzzy! I made a large loopy blanket as a gift. It turned out fine. BUT the fuzz was continuously a problem. I was covered every time I worked on it. I liked the looks and feel, but the fuzzy problem will stop me from buying more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sheds everywhere Made a blanket with this yarn and it was expensive and the yarn sheds all over. Not sure I want to give the blanket to someone to have that burden as I had planned for a gift. Won’t purchase again. Also very few patterns available.
