Blending Basics With Artist's Loft Alcohol-Based Markers, Part I

In part one of this two-part class, the instructor will explain how to look at various reference photos of the same image and create a color palette of alcohol-based markers. Next, the instructor will walk you through how to sketch the dark and light value shapes of the reference photos in a sketchbook along with a zoomed in and zoomed out version of the reference image. Then, you will begin to practice how to layer and blend these colors to create color versions of your sketches on bristol vellum illustration paper.
